The 6-Month Bridal Glow Timeline
A physician-designed schedule so you walk down the aisle as your most radiant self.
Why six months — not six weeks
Skin remodels on biological timeframes, not wedding planner timeframes. Pigmentation takes 12 weeks to lift, collagen takes 90 days to remodel, and any injectable needs at least four weeks to settle.
Brides who arrive six months early walk down the aisle calm, glowing, and themselves. Brides who arrive six weeks early are managing fear, not preparation.
6 months out — assessment and foundation
Full consultation. We assess skin quality, pigmentation, pore size, any acne or scarring, and any concerns about specific features (under-eye hollowness, jawline definition, lip shape).
Begin monthly Hydrafacials. Start a medical-grade home regimen (vitamin C, retinoid, SPF 50). Address pigmentation with a tailored peel plan if indicated. Lab workup if hair restoration is part of the plan.
4–5 months out — corrective treatments
This is the safe window for any structural injectable work — cheek filler, jawline definition, conservative lip enhancement. The result will settle, refine, and look completely natural by the wedding.
Continue monthly Hydrafacial. Introduce mesotherapy or PRP if skin glow is the priority. Begin laser hair removal if needed (most areas require 4–6 sessions, perfectly timed by month four).
3 months out — refinement
First Botox session, if you have never had Botox before. Three months gives complete time to assess movement, dose, and decide on a touch-up. Never let your wedding be your first Botox experience.
Confirm trial hair and makeup looks. Photograph yourself in different lights. Adjust skincare based on how skin is responding.
1 month out — last optimisations
Final Botox touch-up (if needed) — minimum four weeks before the wedding. Final tiny filler refinement if absolutely required.
Continue Hydrafacial monthly. Do not introduce any new product, peel, or laser in the final month. The skin barrier must be calm and predictable.
The final 2 weeks — the inviolable rule
No injections of any kind in the final two weeks. Not Botox, not filler, not mesotherapy, not PRP. Bruising and swelling are real risks, and they are unacceptable on a wedding day.
What is allowed in the final 10 days: a gentle Hydrafacial for glow, a lymphatic facial massage, and disciplined sleep. The bride who looks effortless on the day did the work over six months.
Frequently Asked
Common questions
Can I do Botox before my wedding?+
Yes, but never closer than four weeks. Three months out is the safest window for first-time Botox; one month out is acceptable for an experienced patient.
When should I do my last filler?+
At least four weeks before the wedding. Two weeks is the absolute minimum, and only for very experienced patients with no history of bruising.
Is Hydrafacial safe close to the wedding?+
Yes. We routinely perform Hydrafacial 7–10 days before. It is one of the few treatments specifically designed for event-day glow.
What if I have active acne?+
Start treatment six months out. A medical-grade acne protocol — topical retinoid, chemical peels, possibly oral therapy — clears most cases by the wedding date.
Can I start treatments only one month before?+
You can improve skin glow with Hydrafacial and a focused home routine. But injectables, lasers, and corrective work need longer. Be realistic and prioritise calm.
